Egg Tempera (1)

Tempera is a very long-lasting, fast-drying painting medium mixed with binder medium that is water-soluble, usually glutinous material like egg yolk. Egg Tempera was primary method of painting during Renaissance till 15th century after which oil painting technique superseded it. It was used as medium by famous artists like Sandro Botticelli, Guido of Siena, Duccio, Stefano di Giovanni.
