Watercolor (18)

Watercolor paint is made of pigments suspended in a water-based solution. It's mostly done on watercolor paper (cold-pressed and GSM between 200 and 300) and other supports include various surfaces like papyrus, bark paper, wood, vellum, leather, fabric, watercolor canvas. It is usually translucent and appears luminuous as pigments are in pure form with very few fillers. It can be made opaque by adding Chinese White. It is available in a solid form in pans and as a paste in tubes.
